Hacienda CDC

As the lead for integrated marketing and communications strategy at Hacienda CDC, I played a key role in increasing the organization's visibility by managing all external communications, press, events, and social media; including the development of a crisis communications campaign and revamped the organization's website and messaging.

I spearheaded event planning and execution for a range of events, including the annual Comunidad Viva fundraiser featuring keynote speaker Julissa Arce, an annual convention-style Home Fair, and milestone groundbreaking and grand opening events, engaging audiences upwards of 600 attendees. My efforts in event planning propelled lead generation and brand awareness for Hacienda CDC.

In addition, I led the production of videos and ongoing storytelling efforts to enhance the organization's brand image. I managed cross-departmental efforts to promote existing and new programs, while also serving as the lead content creator for external presentations, speeches, press releases, owned media, and various public relations opportunities resulting in highly visible earned media engagements.

I also led and oversaw all owned and paid communications reaching an audience of over 20,000 across resulting in an average 16% increase across all social media platforms in a twelve month span.

Furthermore, I played a crucial role in the development and design of integrations for the Hacienda CDC website and internal staff portal, which streamlined internal processes and client engagement, resulting in increased organic traffic, user experience, and increased staff productivity. Additionally, I ideated, designed, and launched Community Card, a program registration optimization that increased return client engagement by 2x and provided seamless data sharing and monitoring capabilities.

Overall, my integrated marketing, event planning, and storytelling and video production efforts contributed to increased brand awareness and engagement for Hacienda CDC, ultimately furthering the organization's mission to build thriving communities in Oregon.
