EVENT PRODUCTION | INTEGRATED MARKETING | STORY DEVELOPMENT

I had the pleasure of working with Camp Fire Columbia, a non-profit organization committed to providing enriching programs for children and youth. I played a key role in several projects for the organization, including the WE ARE THE NOW campaign, donor stewardship and communications, annual fundraising event production, and storytelling through written pieces and video production.

For the WE ARE THE NOW campaign, I collaborated cross departmentally develop a brand identity and messaging strategy that highlighted the organization's mission and impact. I crafted copy and visuals that conveyed the urgency and importance of the organization's work and appealed to potential donors. By aligning the messaging with the visual elements, we were able to create a cohesive and impactful campaign that resonated with the target audience.

In terms of donor communications, I developed visual and written content that appealed to key donor audiences and re-engaged over 600 lapsed donors through the launch of a community newsletter. I also formalized and executed an annual fundraising strategy that resulted in a 10% and 44% rise in giving in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Additionally, I oversaw grant, foundation, and corporate giving totaling $1.4 million to support program operations and growth.

As the creative director and event planner for the 2020 in-person and 2021 virtual fundraising events, I played a crucial role in the event production process. I developed a creative concept that aligned with the organization's mission and created an impactful user experience for attendees. My role as a donor cultivator also helped to increase individual and corporate gifts by 21% year over year.

To further enhance the organization's brand and engage with their audience, I also led the storytelling and video production initiatives. I crafted compelling stories that showcased the impact of Camp Fire Columbia's programs and created video content that highlighted the organization's mission and accomplishments. These videos were used for promotional and fundraising purposes, resulting in increased engagement with the organization's social media channels and website.

Throughout my work with Camp Fire Columbia, I was an active participant in the Fundraising Committee and Equity Taskforce, demonstrating my commitment to equity and social justice.

Overall, my work with Camp Fire Columbia is a testament to my expertise in brand development, copywriting, event production, donor communications, integrated marketing strategy, and storytelling/video production. Through effective storytelling, messaging, and design, I was able to help the organization raise funds, increase engagement with their community, and showcase their impact.
