EVENT PLANNING | EVENT MARKETING | PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT

Collaborating closely with the Atlantic Records team, I played a pivotal role in orchestrating a pop-up album release concert for Portugal the Man's latest album, "Chris Black Changed My Life." This event was a key element of the Portland Takeover album release day celebrations, requiring meticulous planning and execution to maintain an air of secrecy and excitement.

For this unique event, I utilized my strategic communication skills to ensure that the event remained under wraps while generating anticipation among fans on social media. Crafting compelling and cryptic messaging that remained on brand, I contributed to building an air of mystery around the concert, heightening the buzz leading up to the grand reveal.

As the main liaison for the band and Atlantic Records team, I ensured that the event logistics came together seamlessly, managing logistics and rentals to account for an influx of over 600 visitors to the concert site. Throughout the event planning process, I worked closedly with the production team at Atlantic Records to ensure all needs and expectations were met.

In the realm of integrated communications, this project showcased my ability to synchronize various elements, from messaging to on brand design that elevated both partners,  to create a memorable and impactful attendee experience. The success of the pop-up album release concert not only contributed to the overall Portland Takeover celebrations but also created a unique and memorable community event, which was executed to a high caliber even within a short timeframe.
